Today, the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic, the complex was the seat of power for the Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors and, more recently, presidents of Czechoslovakia.

As a guide I will help you to uncover the secrets of its Gothic churches and hear the sounds of thousand-year-old stones, as you walk through the Old Royal Palace, visit St. George Basilica and wander down the picturesque Golden Lane. If you have time, you can also explore the vast network of gardens.

About your host

Dear customers. I am Lukas and I was born and raised in the historical centre of Prague. I love travelling and after getting hands-on experience exploring numerous countries, I decided to become a tour guide in my hometown. When I finished studying history and social communications, I started off as a tour leader in a Czech Travel agency and then became an official licensed Tour Guide of Prague and in the Czech Republic in 2007.
